BECOME A WRITER FOR EXOTICCATZ.COM!

There is a strong need for publicly available information on exotic felines. As I discovered when I was thinking about buying a serval, the information available scarce, often biased, and filled with contradictions. Current and potential owners need detailed, accurate information in order to make the right decisions and care for their cats properly. That is the reason this site exists, but it won't become a true resource without the help of the exotic animal community. One person cannot hope to write everthing that needs to be known about exotic cats, but if everyone pitches in and writes something realating to their areas of expertise, before long this will be a valuable resource.

Would you like to profile a species; its behavior, and specific care requirements? Perhaps there is an issue you feel strongly about, or an aspect of exotic feline husbandry you would like to cover? Breeders and sanctuary operators; if you spend a lot of time answering the same questions repeatedly, why not write something that answers them comprehensively and send it in? That way, you'll always have a source to refer people to and won't have to repeat yourself so much.

Perhaps you would like some free advertising for your cattery, sanctuary, or product? You retain the copyright to your work, and I credit all authors properly including a link to your website, sanctuary, or cattery where applicable, so while I cannot pay for articles you will receive a certain amount of free publicity. Previously published articles are welcome. I am also open to publishing your articles anonymously if you are uncomfortable with them appearing under your own name.

If you are an aspiring writer or student writing a paper but don't have exotic cat experience, and would like to see your work published here, I can provide an assignment for you that doesn't require experience. Just send me an email and we can set something up.

I also welcome photos of all exotic cats, especially ones that show them interacting with humans and other animal. Photos will be added to the ExoticCatz Photo Gallery and often included in articles on this site.
