Raising a wildcat with a dog.
Right now I have an 8 month old bobcat (Randi) and I also have a 70 lb. Golden Lab (Beau). Beau is very sweet and docile and Randi is as well but sometimes Randi will out of nowhere just smack the fire out of Beau. Now Randi will be sweet to Beau most of the time but when Randi puts his butt in Beau's face and when Beau doesn't reciprocate he acts all offended and smacks him hard. Beau will simply yelp an run away since he doesn't have a mean bone in his doggy body. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to curb this behavior or should I just keep them separated before Randi really hurts him?

There's no curbing the behavior, so unsupervised contact may soon be out of the question. Better safe than sorry.
