Welcome! This site is a joint project of Exoticcatz.com and the Feline Conservation Federation. This network exists to help rescue and find permanent homes for captive wild and exotic felines, such as bobcats, servals, cougars, and tigers. People, sanctuaries, zoos, and government agencies who need to place a wild/exotic feline can use this network to find a suitable home. Placement NetworkThis is a network of sanctuaries, zoos, and individuals across the country who can work together to place any feline that is in need of rescue or relocation. Network members may provide services such as offering emergency foster care for dislocated animals until a permanent home can be found, visiting the facilities of local adoption applicants to ensure that they are suitable caretakers, and helping find homes for unwanted felines. If you want to help exotic cats, consider joining the network and volunteering your services in one of these areas. Adopt or Place an Exotic FelineYou can browse or search our online listing of exotic cats who are up for adoption, or list a feline that you need to find a new home for. Adoption Waiting ListThose interested in adopting an exotic cat can fill out an initial adoption screening application. Upon acceptance, they will be placed on the adoption waiting list, where parties who need to place an animal can view your information and contact you when they have an exotic feline who might be a good match. Emergency PlacementsWild/Exotic Felines are sometimes euthanized by animal shelters and government agencies who lack the knowledge, resources, and facilities to house and find homes for seized or unwanted cats. This does not need to happen! We can work with you to find an emergency foster home and get the feline into a permanent, qualified home. Please contact one of our placement coordinators for assistance before resorting to euthanasia! We can also help owners whose cats are in jeopardy find permanent or foster homes.
